ComfiLife Foot Rest for Under Desk Review

I’ve been using the ComfiLife Foot Rest for Under Desk for a few weeks now, and I honestly didn’t expect such a small addition to make such a noticeable difference. I spend long hours sitting at my desk every day, and my legs and lower back usually start feeling stiff by the afternoon. Since adding this footrest, sitting for extended periods feels a lot more comfortable.

The first thing I noticed was the memory foam. It’s soft enough to feel comfortable but still firm enough to properly support your feet. Whether I’m wearing shoes or sitting barefoot, it feels really nice and doesn’t flatten immediately like cheaper foam products tend to do.

One feature I ended up appreciating more than expected is the adjustable height. The detachable bottom layer lets you raise or lower the footrest depending on your chair height or sitting position. I changed the setup a couple of times before finding the perfect height, and it definitely helped improve my posture.

I also like that the cover is removable and machine washable because fabric footrests can get dirty surprisingly fast. The non-slip bottom works well too — it stays in place instead of sliding around every time I move my feet.

Another thing worth mentioning is the versatility. Sometimes I flip it over and use it as a rocking footrest, which feels surprisingly relaxing during long work sessions. It can also work under the knees if you’re lying down.

That said, it’s not completely perfect. Since it uses memory foam, it does compress slightly over time, especially if you use it daily. It still remains comfortable, but you may notice it loses a bit of its original height after a while. Also, when using the added height extension, it can feel a little less stable compared to the standard setup.

The fabric cover also tends to attract dust and lint more than I expected, so you’ll probably need to clean it regularly if you want it looking fresh.

Overall, I think this is a great ergonomic upgrade for anyone who spends hours at a desk. It’s comfortable, supportive, adjustable, and much better than resting your feet flat on a hard floor all day. If you work from home or sit at a computer for long periods, this footrest is definitely worth considering.
